Treatment via dental implants

A dental implant is an artificial root that is screwed into the tooth bone. Implants are usually made of titanium, because this high-quality material is tolerated by the body and perfectly merges with the human bone.

All on 4

In the all-on-4 concept, a complete fixed bridge of 10 or 12 teeth is placed on 4 implants. The posterior implants are deliberately placed obliquely in the bone. This oblique position increases the mutual spread between the implants and thereby improves the anchoring of the fixed bridge.

Alto Dental focuses on immediate loading of implants. As a result, our implantologists, dentists and dental technicians have built up considerable expertise. This, combined with our innovative digital process, offers you a predictable and fast treatment.

A bridge on implants

Dental implants, like natural tooth roots, can act as a fulcrum to support a bridge.

The advantage is that no bridge is placed on healthy neighbouring teeth that have to be enervated and ground for this purpose. Loose dentures are not necessary and the jaw bone at the level of the implants is preserved.

A crown on an implant

We usually place an implant under local anaesthesia where we make a small incision in your gums and drill a hole in the jawbone. Once this is done, we screw and fit the implant before safely finishing the procedure. After four to six months, your artificial root would have fully grown into the bone, at which point a crown is placed on it.

In some cases, the crown can be placed immediately - this is referred to as 'immediate loading'. Our surgeons have years of experience with this non-widespread technique and can advise you on when this is possible..
